This morning I was on my way to the repair shop to sort out the coincidences (Mr. Babu's suggestion of "bad vehicle speed sensor was looking pretty good as an explanation), when... two blocks from the shop, my clutch pedal goes to the floor and stays there... throw-out bearing! Add another piece of coincidental timing to the list.
