Unless the trip's on the autobahn at 235 km/h, take the trip NOW. Hi, a birdie in the Trollhaettan factory (70 km from here) mentioned to me that the engines are more or less run in on the bench before they're dropped into the cars. Just the same, you get better wear properties if you don't cane the living s*** out of them as soon as you leave the showroom. Otherwise, have fun! Another tip - the turbo bearings are now watercooled which means that the instructions on earlier models - "idle 15 seconds before shutting down" can be ignored to a certain degree, though you may like to exercise due care.
