Hi, Well Steve I'm on my seventh SAAB right now. My first was an old 96 V4 which I thrashed all over Norway and Sweden back in the seventies. My latest is a new shape 900S and I also run an '83 900 GLS as a work horse! Contrary to popular belief SAAB's are not expensive to run and maintain. A popular TV motoring programme here in the UK called "Top Gear" found that most service parts for SAAB were cheaper than the equivalent GM and Ford models worked out more expensive. Go for it!
