Well, I said I'd post back when I got my new antenna mast in and I finally just got around to it. I initially had problems getting it out, as others have reported. I ended up pulling the motor, two Torx screws and two connectors. No biggie. Pulled the old mast out, took apart the feed mechanism to remove the broken nylon toothed belt, replaced the motor and then tried to feed in the new mast. No go. The new mast wouldn't go in for the same reason the old one wouldn't come out. So I pulled the motor back out and put the mast in like I'd taken the old one out, but without feeding the belt back in, it was impossible to get it back in. So I pulled the magnet housing in the motor and manually spun the armature to feed the new mast belt in. Took about five minutes of spinning. Push in the armature while you spin it or it will just back out of the housing. Once the new mast was in place in the fully retracted position, I replaced it in the car and now all works fine. Hope this helps someone and if anyone has questions, feel free to mail me and I'll help however I can. Thanks to everyone that offered suggestions. As a side note, the ground is through the frame, so you can't just feed in the mast belt without it mounted unless you run a ground wire. I was too lazy to do that and all worked out ok. Good luck to anyone else needing to replace theirs. -klaus
