Does anyone know if when you turn the key on all the way (without turning it over) if the fuel pump is supposed to come on making noise and all?Or does it come on just when you turn the car over?My fuel pump sometimes works then dosnt and for awhile now has left me stranded..When it is not working the pressure never gets to build back up leaving the fuel injection system bone dry.It is on random ocassion after several hours that it "might" work again..Anyhow my pump does not start buzzing when i turn the key on but does when I turn the car over all the way (then the car stalls right away). Why is it not having pressure keep the lines full or what not? Then why does it die and not start again? Do you think i need a new pump? Does the gas tank have to come out in 1988 Saab 9000T? Does anyone have intrsuctions on how to replace it or any suggestions what might be wrong..It would be greatly appreciated..Thank you Brad
