I have a roof rack that my father had with a '73 99. This is actual SAAB hardware! It is a sort of galvanized steel with cap screws that clamp it onto the edges of the roof. As I now have a convertible, I have no use for it. I can be adjusted in width, so even if the width of the roof has changed from year to year ( I rather doubt it) you can still make it fit.
