Which model are you looking to chip?? If its a 9000, then check under the passenger seat for the ECU. SAAB make an upgraded ECU. If your ECU is black then you have a standard ECU. If it is RED then it is already 'chipped'. The SAAB Red ECU's were used in the Carlsson's, which were the sports SAAB's. If you still have a black one, change it to red (costs about £150 from a UK SAAB Specialist - about £500 from a dealer) Same applies if you have a 900, but not sure where the ECU is on them.
