Subject: Specification for 9000 Turbo Auto

Hi all. I'm currently driving a '89 9000 Turbo Auto. After doing some research, am I right in thinkin that this model was only produced in the UK for about a year. My car seems to have all the optional extras, electric adjustable seats, cruise control, ACC, centre armrest, walnut dash etc. Anyway the big question. The car has stock parts, but to this day I do not have any figures for performance and MPG. I have recently had the Turbo dump valve replaced and have noticed a marked inprovement in poerformance. I am currently getting an average of 28 MPG, on mainly highway driving and an average speed of 85MPH. Also top speed seems to be around the 135MPH. I had an oppoirtunity to test it the other day, but this was not at full power. If someone could shed some light on this I would appreciate it, as its a curiosity. People have asked me, how fast does the car go, and all i casn say is, we don't know. I've never found out. Thanks Tom
