I, too, looked at & drove both cars (as well as BMW, Volvo, Mercedes). I chose the Saab 9-5 (in September 1998) with auto, ventilated seats, & a moon/sunroof. I love it! It really gets out from under you with that super low-end torque. The 3.2TL is a great car but, IMHO, it is outclassed by the 9-5. Have you driven both cars? The Saab you are comparing (non-SE) takes regular gas with aplomb...does the Acura, as well (I don't recall)? I have been driving Hondas for the past 17 years...the 9-5 is the first non-Honda I've driven as my every-day car. The value is incredible...though it remains to be seen how well the Saab does in resale (Honda & Acura are hard to beat here). Perhaps you would feel safer leasing...
