Yeah but, how often would the Intrepid need to be worked on? I would take the '91 Accord in a Heartbeat! Check the reliability ratings on those things. Granted, Chrysler probably makes the most reliable American CARS(trucks are a different story), but still... You get what you pay for. Why does the Chrysler depreciate so much? And, since when are parts for an Intrepid cheap? My buddy has a '96, purchased at the same time I bought my '96 Integra. He may have paid slightly more for it, but it has been in the shop at least 10 times! Not very impressive in my book! What is that car worth now? $10,500 according to Edmund's. Still about $3000 less than my integra. Why? Mass hypnosis by Japanese automakers? How about because it has higher quality, costs less to maintain, and research will validate my claim that the Acura/Honda is more reliable than just about any other vehicle on the road, including other Japanese makes. Unfortunately, it seems like most late model American cars are ok as long as they are less than 3 years old. Maybe I am just biased, but I'll take my Acura/Honda any day (unless of course you are asking my about my first generation Camaro. In which case the decision becomes more difficult 8^))! Just my $.02 Roy <maple-moosenopsam.com> wrote in message news:ROAh3.28534$g02.78551nopsam.rdc1.ab.wave.home.com... > In article <7m54uj$gue$1nopsamprod.itd.earthlink.net>, rshroyernopsamo.bae.lsu.edu says... > > >I almost bought a 1996 Camaro new intead of the Integra.
