John, I'd stay away from synthetic motor oil - ran Mobil 1 in my 900 for about a year and it made the shifting substantially worse. OTOH, I'll heartily recommend the Red Line MTL. I use it in all my cars ('86 9000T and a couple of Audis), and it has worked very well for me in 900's in the past.
