Mike... There is less than you might think, everything is "bolt-on" change. I took apart an 86 SPG for parts and since I have an automatic (187K miles original tranny...knock on wood) I did not have any use for the pedals and shifter linkage, however I kept it just in case. The clutch and break pedals come out as one unit that bolts to the firewall, the gas pedal is the same. Whenever you see Eric Law post in this NG, ask him, he has done it before, he also mentioned that the pick-up tube for the engine oil has to be changed. If you do it, start looking around for a cheap "hangar queen" to get all the ancillary parts from.
