If you would be so kind as to crawl into the trunk, there is a bypass valve on the right side bottom of the back panel in the trunk which if twisted will allow you to rasie the top again. If this proves impossible, or you would like the thing to go up itself, pull up on the rear passenger seat and you will find your top motor and associated wiring. Have a look at its fuse and the wires which lead to it. I believe they are susceptible to corrosion and sometimes break off the motor. Sabb engineers spent more than two years engineering the motor wiring harness so that it only broke when the top was down. :) A question to you as I have a keenn interest in such matters is-how is it that this car is a convertible and an SPG, especially one which is black on black? Just curious as I've been around and around with this issue myself trying to determine if my yellow SE was or was not and SPG. Turns out, it isn't really an SPG, but looks like one from the factory.
