Subject: 1989 900 T Dies after boost....Help

I have an 89 that intemittently dies on my daughter. She says it is usually when she pushes in the clutch for a shift. I took me a while to figure out how to make it do it....you go into mid boost and then let up and push in the clutch. The tack drops down and just slowly continues until it dies. If you don't boost, it never dies, but if you push in the clutch between shifts (a little longer than normal), the engine will drop below normal idle then come back to normal idle. Do you think it could be the pressure sensor under the dash ? THanks for your ideas. JC -- Jim Collins Issaquah, WA (206)755-1666 REMOVE XX from address to reply
