There has been some discussions about the reliability of those 'new' 900's. Fact is that most of the problems that were noticed while launching the car in 1994 were solved allready in 1996. Therefore you could probably buy a very good convertible at a good price. That is of course the advantage of the reliability problems with the early 900's (1994) : the price of the entire model range has dropped a bit in second hand. Be aware of the V6-problems though (although again some members of this group will react furious because they have a V6 without a single problem but it is known that the V6 had quite some problems, they stopped putting it in the 9-3 byu the way).
