We just completed a trip from Buffalo, NY to Bar Harbor ME and experienced the cruise control working intermittently. After playing around, we discovered the brake lights were also coming on and staying on. The brake light signal disables the cruise control! (We could lift the pedal with our toe, and the cruise would start to work again!) Now I wonder, do I adjust point of engagement on the brake switch or do I need to strengthen the return spring on the brake pedal?
