When you get out of the car, sometimes the back of your leg will depress all four or some of the setting switch buttons simultaneously, and thus loses the settings. The problem is that the buttons activate before reaching the level of the switch body. The solution is a replacement switch (under warranty) which doesn't activate until the buttons are below the body of the switch. I had the same problem and had to tell the dealer what was causing it. Then I was told Saab knew about the problem but would only provide a replacement switch if the customer complained. So complain!
