For my 92 900S 16V, one of the relays under the rear seat is for the interior light. The relay is operated by a delay circuit so that when you shut the door and before you insert the key to start the ignition, it provides you the time to search for the key hole. I removed mine because it came to a certain point where the delay circuitry malfunctioned and caused the interior light to stay on permanently.
