I just called AAMCO to ask for an extimate on rebuilding my 1988t trans . . . they quoted me about $3800. Isn't that a bit too pricey? Does anyone have any experience with this? I had rather put that much money towards buying a newer car, does not sound like it is worth it. Am I about to get ripped off??
