Subject: Engine Noise/Power on 9-3

Folks, I've noticed that my 9-3 engine sounds noticeably different, even "rough," when I'm getting to highway speeds and have the air conditioning on. Is that normal or should I head for the dealer and have it checked out? I get the impression it's got asthma or a chest cold... Also, is it my imagination, or does the AC seem to affect acceleration as well? Or is this just more a factor of the hot, humid air and it's effect on the turbo? I feel as though I don't get as much zip out of my car in sport mode as long as I want to feel cool and comfortable, and lately, every day seems to be an AC kind of day! :P TIA, Michael PS: Also, just curious on this one, but should the AC guzzle so much gas? I know our European friends pay an arm and a leg for gas, but Montreal is still no bargain either, roughly twice the US price, FYI.
