Getting sears all metric from the Sears tool catalog would probably be enough for many if not most. The $99 one is what i have. Then get Torque Wrench, socket u-joints and misc extensions, some torx drivers or sockets and buy everything else as needed. I'll bet you'd get by much cheaper and end up with a set of customized tools that you would USE. An example of something I would never use is an oil filter wrench. But that's me.
