Hi. I have a 900i 16v -89 with an irritating problem: When the engine is idleing and I turn on a major electric consumer, as head light or coolingfan, the engine just dies. There is also a singing sound (sounds like an AM radio, wiiieee) that follows the rpm in the range of 1600-1900rpm. I thought that the alternator was the cause of both problems, so I tried with another one without any changes. Any suggestions? /Jonas
