The car sounds worn for only 150000 km, but that all depends on the amt. of maintenance. The hard gears at 3rd and 5th may or may not be a problem. it depends how hard it is. Is it hard as in "normal" for 80s SAAB gearboxes...they weren't always the smoothest... I would take it to a mechanic and get it looked over...but anyway it is dirt cheap...US$650 is the price for an old rusty Chevy Chevette, so if you get anything more than a junker, and it definately sounds like you do, then the deal is most excellent. Good luck to you! Lars:) David Saunders wrote in message ... >Hi All, >I'm looking at a 1985 Saab 900 turbo SPG that still belongs to the original >owner who didn't even have it up for sale.
