Subject: Cleaning Black Trim



I purchased my car ('94 9000 CSE) used from a person who took wonderful care
of it mechanically.  BUT didn't take the best care of the outside.  It
appears that he waxed it a couple of times but that's about it.  No rust or
anything mind you just two days' worth of rubbing, buffing and polishing on
my part to get it to where I want it.

The problem is that there is old wax embedded in the black trim parts and I
can not get it out.  I have tried Mequires plastic & rubber cleaner #39 and
it worked a little but not completely.

Any suggestions?
