I can't speak for the 900 models, but several on the www.saabnet.com bulletin board have tried the Bosch Platinum + 4 plugs in their non-DI and DI equipped 9000 models with good results. If you have a non-DI equipped Saab, prior to 1990, the part number is 4418. If your's is DI equipped the part number is 4417. On my 87 9000S 16V 5 spd, I noticed an increase in performance and gas mileage. The power through the middle of the power band was stronger. I just drove to Rehoboth, Delware and back to Maryland last night. That was 230 miles. A trip to my Chiropractor and to Andrews put 300.7 miles on the trip meter, when I gassed up with 8.89 gals. of Amoco mid-grade. Yes, that is 33.82 mpg.
