Subject: Help with vibes, SPG wheels?

OK folks, the 'patient' is a babied '89 SPG with an intermittant and not-very-speed related mini-vibration. The vibe is 'feel-able' at the steering wheel and with a very low frequency 'hear-able' component. There's also a slight feeling of pulsed power *resistance* (slight staggering?) that accompanies this, at times, more noticeable at lower speeds and when cold. Based on that last, I at first suspected an engine miss, but it's definitely not engine: at speed I can drop it into neutral, and the vibes go on. It's worst when the car's driven after sitting for a few days, (cold) and it lessens (but doesn't disappear) when all is well heated up from a longer drive. I do have 2 wheels that are "slightly" out of round but I don't think that's really the problem this time. [ I'm looking to replace those -- what's a good source for '89 SPG wheels, central USA? New? Used?] What's this sound like to you? Maybe a CV joint? Prizes for the cure, of course. Really, this is a puzzler, and ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanks Lloyd
