Had the clutch cable replaced when i broke a while ago. Saab repaced it FOC since I complained that it had been the subject of the service campaign for a least two services that my car had been in for and the work had not been done. At that time they did the rerouting that was the essence of the service campaign ( I think) I remember that the clutch pressure was better after that but it is such a subjective thing I cannot really tell if it has got any worse. It is only when I drove the Monte Carlo that i realised how heavy (firm) it is. My comment on the gear box stem from the fact that it almost seems to pop out of second gear at certain times as it is being changed up to third. It doesn't pop out on its own only sort of pops into your hand as you move it out of second. Never happens under full noise but I have the feeling (and I am trying to test this) that it happens when the car is turning into a right hand bend and changing up. IE a RH sweeper or the exit from a RH bend. And I find that slow changes feel better than fast changes as far as "stick feel" goes. Chris.
