Subject: Re: How to reset Check Engine light?

I'm not sure, but disconnecting the battery works on alot of cars! I know on my 89 900 the plug is under the seat all you do is, (1) Get a sometype electrical switch 2 position. (2) couple feet of wire. Assemble it and with the switch to off, ground one end, and put the other to PIN 2, then turn your ignition to run, flip the switch and flip again after the Light flashes One time.....Then start righting down the codes, after all the short and long flashes stop you will get a regular flash that wont stop (kinda steady flash) once this happens flip the switch again, and after once more flash flip it again, and the codes have been reset! By the way most the time i am told.... the light doesn't come back on, unless a new problem exists..so maybe you know have a vaccuum leak that it's detecting that's what my problem is....i still need to fix it.
