I hate New Haven. It's like Bridgeport with an Ivy league school. I used to work for TIAC (no jokes, now) and I went to New Haven a few times to help setup/fix the dial up POP (point of presence) site there. The building was in some old office building right on the green, but you had to drive through no fewer than 3 blocks of burned out, boarded up urban hellhole just to get there. And of course, when you looked out the window of this building, there was graffitti on the next building (spray painted in 10 foot tall letters) that said: "MARIA EATS PUSSY" Lovely. I wanted to know how anyone could spray paint that on the side of a building where there were no balconies, windows, fire escapes, etc. Maybe Spider Man did it? Did they rappel down the side? I still can't figure it out. Anyways, I'm glad I don't have to go to New Haven anymore. It just proves the maxim about the enormous divide between incredibly rich, and incredibly poor in Connecticut as far as I'm concerned. >> The beach in Branford? > Branford?! Then I highly advise not test driving the Viggen. You might sell a kidney to buy it. Seriously, I had no intention of buying the Viggen, and when I test drove it, I was thinking, "OK, but there's no way I'm spending this damn much money on a car. This is just for fun..." Aw, Bullwinkle. That trick never works. I have to admit, I'm enjoying the Viggen, even if I'm eating ramen noodles every night now. In all seriousness, test drive one and write about it. You're a lifelong Saab enthusiast, and the review should be fun! > Cripes......I even dream about cars.
