Michael, If it makes you feel any better, I've made countless visits to Saab dealers for numerous problems such as yours. I love my 9-5 and the way it drives, but all the little luxuries (like ACC) are not perfect. My rep compensated by installing a CD changer, but my car's probably spent about 3-4 weeks total over ~20 visits in the 1 year I've had it. I've heard about Saabs and their little problems, but never thought I'd spend so much time having to correct them. Current problems are the seat memory switch, loose exit handles, and the driver seat shoved up against the center console & screeching whenever I adjust the seat. I'll address these problems when I have a little more time. Fixed were the ACC (program chip replaced), intermittent groan in engine area (part replaced), rocking driver seat (track replaced), radio replaced (dash scratched by careless mechanic), loose door hinges (screws tightened), transmission (loose connection), and loss of power in driver quarter of car (loose connection). Good luck, and if anyone else would like to commiserate I'd be happy to hear that my car is not alone! Eve
