Subject: handling woes 84 900

greetings all: my 1984 900s has problems holding the road to the point of being scary at times. All four ball joints and shocks have been replaced but the suspention has this loose feeling to it. additionally, when i go over bumps the front passenger side has this loud rattle to it. it sounds as if the damper and spring are not holding the wheel to the road and the whole assembly is rapidly bouncing up and down. the front end in general just has this drift and skate feel to it. it is decidedly more pronounced on long straight roads with a 55mph speed limit. i live on a very narrow twisty road, and while it can be a struggle to drive, it is generally easier especially given the 45 mph speeds. my car has been looked over by a few mechanics, and all have given the clean bill of health. this whole situation has me scatching my head. wondering what to check next......any ideas thanks......trevor
