Subject: Re: Why I own a SAAB

I recently bought a Saab 900 black, convertible, full options, 16 valves mod. '93 for $10,000.00 I was a Bimmer maniac, probably I still am. Though great, BMW is overpriced. This is why I bought the Saab. I enjoy driving the Saab; However, 2 reasons are pushing me to sell it back. First, because Saab is rare, I could not find spare parts sometimes even at the dealers' shop. If spare parts are available, they are extremely overpriced. Because I'm living in Dubai, the AC is crucial. I needed a switch for the AC and I had to wait for 3 weeks before it was available. The price, don't ask. second, the engine performance to body weight is so slow. Especially when I slow down and I have to take off again, it takes a while to recapture a Honda, not a BMW. Besides, the engine is overheated so I have to add coolant almost daily. ---------- In article <19990821131724.24618.00002285nopsaml1.aol.com>, safeamgarynopsamcom (SAFEAMGARY) wrote: > I'm a new owner of a 95 900cs Convertible Turbo and LOVE it.
