I am considering buying a '96 Turbo. The car has 117.5k miles and has had the following replaced,: engine( owner before current), alternator, exhaust, bearings, clutch. Leather, power Sunroof, new tires,auto CC, are the options.there is some rust on the wheel wells. Asking price is $2000.00US. It has driven beutifully at low speeds and I'm scheduled to take it on the open road. Is this a good buy & have the big ticket mechanical issues been adressed? Are there things , as a check list, to look for? It's a beutiful model , which I've always admired, but I don't want to pay for numerous repairs on a 13 year old car.
