Stuck a length of thin steel rod in my vise and hammered about 5 centimetres of the end around 90 degrees. I stuck this through the hole made by pulling out the plug below (thanks for that) and felt around to make sure I was resting the steel tip on flat plastic, not the wiring. After applying a substantial amount of pressure while supporting the dash with my hand (was afraid I would break the dash before the switch budged)one side of it came free and I was able to manouvre it out. Why did you have to go to all that trouble you ask? Because the switch had actually been glued in! Well nothing broken and hopefully tomorrow I'll have a headlight switch with a working light. Thanks for the speedy reply Dom :-) Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.
