....meaning what? The 70's were better than the 80's? That's one of the things that distinguishes Saab from other manufacturers - improving on a good design year after year rather than coming out with a new model every few months. I've got an '84 900 S, and a '93 9000 CSE. While the 9000 is faster, being a turbo, so far I still like the 900 better. Having now worked on both, I like the 900 much better. While short on creature comforts, it handles better, is less sensitive to road crown and has more neutral steering, has greater road clearance, and overall has better ergonomics for the driver. Maybe it's just because I've driven the 900 for the past 10 years, and the 9000 for only a few months.... On the other hand the 9000 is a "nicer" car.
