My A/C compressor was working perfectly fine except the compressor was making some very loud screeching sounds as if the bearings had gone out. I decided to spray heavily in and around the compressor wheel and clutch area with lubricant (WD40). Now my A/C stopped blowing cold air. The clutch still sticks and turns when I switch on the A/C ..I just get no cold air. The compressor sound is getting worse. Did I do something wrong here? RON in Houston 88 900T
