Subject: Re: cell phone kit from saab

The mic is prewired (at least on my '99 9-5) and is behind the grille near the map reading light. If you use the Saab wiring harness, there is a mic lead that connects to the saab mic. If you handsfree kit puts out a "negative ground" signal when it rings, the wiring harness will feed this to the computer and turn down the radio and update the dash display to say 'incoming call'. From my research, it is rare to find a phone that puts out the required signal (last I heard, the folks at Saab USA hq had not found one).
