Subject: Classic 900 with V8



Just wondering.  Does anyone know if this has ever been done?  I can get a
1984  900 with no motor and a good 5 speed trans.  The car is not in that
good of condition, so a restore is most likely out of the question.  I have
done a couple of other conversions, (3 ltr 911 into a VW Bug, and a Rover
aluminum V-8 into a Ford Escort, But nothing to this extent.  Is it possible
to mate a V-8 Block to the Saab 5 speed Trans.  Have no plans at this time,
however the thought has crossed my mind.

Just for discussion.  Is it possible?
