Subject: 9000 T uphill misfire

My 88 9000 T auto has had an intermittent misfire for some time and because it doesn't happen every time I drive the car it is driving me mad. Most common symptom is slight misfire at low revs (1500) just after it changes up to 2nd or 3rd on a light throttle. If you accelerate or change down it clears. Over the past 3 months I've changed the plugs (twice - NGK palladium), HT leads, rotor arm, distibutor cap and fuel filter. I've checked all the vacuum hoses and had the ignition timing and mixture checked. My next step is to get a Saab specialist to contect it up to their computer, but that can soon get expensive since it is not unlikely it will run fine for them. It never happens until the car is fully warm (10-15 minutes driving). Occasionally (but only sometimes) when going up long steep hills it is far worse - you can feel the car running on 3 cylinders and it doesn't clear if you accelerate or change down, but if you stop it idles fine. I have a suspicion there is an intermttent fault with one of the injectors, but am not sure how to identify which or whether this is the cause. Anyone got any suggestions?
