A weak point with all V6 (and V8 for that matter) is the additional weight on the front wheels. This is the reason why for many cars with both 4:s and 6:s, the ones with the 4:s are the better sports cars, due to better weight distribution and handling. (e.g. Alfa Romeos, Saabs ... ) If you look at the specification of the 9-5 V6 and the old 200 hp 2.3 T they seem identical, apart from the fact that the 4 is stronger on low revs... The "only" good thing you get with a 6 cyl is the nicer sound and less vibrations.
