Subject: Re: Gas tank question

I considered the pros & cons of stashing a little gas : - safety...with this tank, it's probably safer then most cars in the garage - cost...they paid me to take the plastic hazard out of their yard. I will have to pay for stabilizer....is the price of gas going down ? + peace of mind...knowing I can have: water,(from the community generator/well), lights, tv/radio, fans etc,(from my personal generator/battery charger [a car alternator mounted on an old lawnmower] 1000+ miles of mobility from my moped ($20 from the scrap yard). If something happens +convenience....If nothing happens, I have my own filling station for my lawnmower (the one with the blade still on) and my moped. I don't think I'll feel silly no matter what happens.( exept when I ride my moped) By "sending unit",if you mean for gas guage,no, that is in the center of the tank (but I was wondering why it [gas float] has three wire lugs.) Knowing SAAB, the device in question is some sort of safety switch that maybe senses when the tank (car) is on its side or something. Thanks for giving me the capacity........and in gallons haha Richard U ps if a Harley isn't leaking oil, it has probably all leaked out
