<Snip> Tod, You could have alittle air in the clutch line, did you use a pressure bleed system or just pump the pedal? If you just pumped the pedal try a pressure bleed kit (Lots on the market). As the clutch is on a seperate circuit from the brakes at least you don't have to worry about them. More likely I think it's the oil you are using in the box. Mobil 1 is great for the engine but I suspect alittle "thin" for the box. The reason I say this is that I used 5w/40 once and had very similar problems, I then used 20w/50 and it dissappeared. I use either Castrol gtx or Duckhams, but any good quality one will do. I think this happens because the box design is quite old now +30 years and in the 1970's synthetics weren't available for the general public I have 2 900s and the only g'box trouble I have had is that the older one would jump out of reverse. I swapped boxes and stripped the old one Found worn bearings, but 175,000 miles and a 2nd hand box for fifty quid it wasn't worth repairing Good Luck Malc Scotland Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.
