Subject: Re: Saab losing it's identity ?!

Saab is the only manufacturer who can build adult sized performance cars. Specifically 2 doors (4 doors add weight, weaken body stiffness and I'm not a taxi service - the wife's van is for that), manual transmission (sorry MB), light weight (forget any domestic) and a strong engine. The cargo capacity of the hatch is the icing on the cake when I have to travel for business. Bottom line, I am 6'3". Every other auto manufacturer builds for 5'6". With any other performance coupe, I have to lie on my back and steer with my knees (esp. BMW 3's). Sitting upright? Only if I have x-ray vision to look through the windshield mouldings. And if you are too afraid to park any car on the street, it's not worth the price. So really, by process of elimination, Saab was the only choice. Most of the people who buy 4 wheel drive never take them off road. <Mark> wrote in message news:DuE2ODHFxbwfaVeItQ21g0HdX6Fonopsamcom... > Isn't Saab losing it's own identity because of the (bad !!) influence > of GM ? > > Mark
