on 9000s, watch out for several things. 1. Heater Core leaking...that is a good 600 to 900 bill to fix and replace. 2. CVTs...get the car checked carefully. 3. AC compressor 4. AC/Heater control unit in dash of car...very expensive to replace 5. Exhaust system...expensive as well. Saabs are wonderful in their space engineering...and excellent in their letting you know what is going on with the car...especially lights...or the lack thereof... But, it is not a cheap car to maintain at all. In that sense, work with a local dealer who can pull up the service records or the vehicle to see what has been done...I did that with Just Saab in Cincinnati and got a really nice car that had about $6,000 put into in the preceeding 12 months..no wonder he sold it...and he fixed it for me!
