The 94 900S can be a quirky devil...but at 120,000 miles I'd wager that any significant problems have already been addressed. I intially went through a slew of wierd ones on mine...and it's now been running like a dream for quite a while. (It's at about 60,000 miles now) There will be the expected high-mileage issues, of course. But I don't think the "new model" blues will have survived into the car's senior years. <G> One other point: my experience with the problems on my 94 900S has ironically made me a Saab zealot. Saab and the local dealership really came through and have stood behind the car. (You wouldn't have believed the gyrations the service manager went through to figure out one particularly mystifying issue with a gear fluid leak...but Saab covered it...no questions asked, even though the issue was technically beyond the warranty.) I love the car, oddball issues and all. The 94 model does have a reputation, but a lot of it seems exaggerated in my view. Still, proceed with caution on this...and check out the service records.
