Were it mine, I'd change the fluid all the way with AMSOIL Synthetic ATF (second choice Mobil 1 ATF). If you don't want to flush it all, depending on the color of the fluid, change the pan about 2-3 times with non-synthetic, and then change it 3-4 times with 'AMSOIL ATF. Do the power steering at the same time with the same stuff. Hopefully the brakes will stop flashing after you change the fluid. In daughter's 1990 900S, there was some minor electrical contact thing which caused the same type of symptom. dick in Falls Church VA
