Here is a little trick to get your stereo to "talk" follow these steps in order, and turn your radio up to hear the voice say "thank you for purchasing a new saab" in 5 different languages! 1: Start the car 2: Turn the car off, but not the ignition. 3: Turn on the stereo 4: Tune to the lowest FM frequency on your stereo 5: Push in the cigarette lighter 6: Turn off the dome light 7: open and close the door 7 times 8: pop the hood 9: tune to the highest FM frequency on your stereo 10: Pull the emergency brake (steps 6-10 must be done before the cigarette lighter pops out) After that you will hear the stereo speak in 7 different languages. I have called Saab about this and they don't claim that it works, but I have tried on 3 different saabs (2 9-5's and a 9-3) and it works fine. I was told this little trick by a friend of mine who works for Saab. I have also confirmed this with a few other people from Saab when I visited my friend's workplace. Quite an odd little "feature"
