Subject: Fuel warning light

A couple of months back, my fuel light came on when the tank was getting low. After 2000 miles and several fill-ups it is still shining brightly. I am not sure of the specifics of this indicator. Is it driven by a level float or some sort of immersion probe? Is there a way to fix it that doesn't require removal of the gas tank. The fuel gauge and odometers are functioning properly so I will just leave it if it is hard to fix. Any info on this subject would be greatly appreciated. Best Regards -Todd
