You don't think that Saab knows that a gun rack for its cars would be an under-appreciated accessory? They know the demographics of their customers better than you know yourself, make no mistake about that. They figure that the hunters are going to stick with the pickup trucks anyway. The hood of a Saab is simply inadequate for lashing down the carcass of a dead animal anyway. And by the way, without the political pressure of hunters, local governments would be free to use the equally effective and far more humane tactic of seeding deer-infested areas with contraceptive baits and adopting better land management strategies.
