Besides, the Taurus SHO is flat out faster than the Maxima, and is most likely cheaper to insure (because it's cheaper to repair). Furthermore the same engine (3.8L V6) is used in the Taurus and Mustang. Yet I pay nearly $700/yr for insurance on my wheels, and I doubt that'd be the case for a 'Stang. That and you can get a turbocharged 300ZX, and not all 300ZXs used the same engines (aside from the turbo). Best bet for a teenager is to stay away from turbocharged cars. Insurance companies will love to charge you a few arms and legs if you admit to owning a turbocharged car. - alex
